These kidney-friendly apple cinnamon energy bites are tasty and convenient. You have a great snack or light breakfast for the week in just ten minutes.

Equipment

  • 1 Food Processor
  • 1 Large mixing bowl

Ingredients 

  • 1 Apple, finely diced or grated
  • ½ cup Peanut butter
  • ½ cup Sliced almonds
  • 1½ cup Rolled oats
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Flax seed
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

Option One – Smoother

  • Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse 15-20 times until desired texture. Make sure to scrape down sides halfway through.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls and store in aire-tight container.

Option Two – Chunkier

  • In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients well.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls and store in aire-tight container.

Notes

Store in the fridge for 1 week or freezer for  3 months.
