Steamed Broccoli

- 4 cups Broccoli florets About 1 medium crown of broccoli
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- ¼ tsp Salt
- Pinch Black pepper
Cut crowns into bite-sized florets. Rinse the broccoli florets thoroughly.
Place steaming basket and ½ inch of water into a large stock pot and bring to a boil. (Note that if you don't have a steamer, you can simply boil the broccoli directly in the water.)
Add the broccoli to the steaming basket and cover; reduce heat to a simmer and let cook for 5-10 minutes, or until tender.
In a small bowl, mix oil, salt, and pepper. In a large bowl, toss broccoli and oil mixture thoroughly.
